Summer Intensive SAT Math Prep Course - June 9th - July 2nd ; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 5 PM - 8 PM

Intensive SAT Math Prep Course Description:

This class is designed to prepare high school students (and advanced middle school students who plan for Duke TIP/ Johns Hopkins CTY) for the math section of the new SAT. Students will be trained on the new SAT Math concepts on top of exploring a systematic fashion of mastering techniques used on the SAT Math Exam. SAT Math Class is envisioned to equip students with a variety of questioning styles seen on the SAT in addition to cultivate & strengthen their problem solving skills besides their math skills. This course will also include a discussion of the effective use of a graphing calculator.

Prerequisites: Algebra 1

What to Bring: A TI-83 or TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator.

Instructor:
Sema Duzyol, experienced High School Math Teacher & Math Olympiad Coach, holds BS degree in Engineering and MS in Mathematics. She has taught all levels of high school mathematics courses including AP Calculus, AP Statistics Courses and Multi-variable Calculus. Mrs. Duzyol coached Georgia State MATHCOUNTS Team for the last four years at the National MATHCOUNTS Competition in 2016 thru 2019. In May 2017, for the second year in a row, Georgia won the 'Most Improved Team' award for their impressive trajectory. In only two short years, Georgia has advanced from 28th place to fourth in the country, the highest ranking ever achieved in the state's history.

Enrollment Fee:

$660 for individual enrollment, and it covers 12 meetings, total of 36 hours.
